What is XRP?

XRP is an experimental robotics platform designed to help students take their first steps into engineering, programming, and robot design. It’s built to be accessible for beginners while still offering depth for experienced teams.

XRP was created by a coalition of companies and educational institutions dedicated to advancing STEM education.

Key XRP features include:

  • Block-based programming (Blockly) and MicroPython
  • Modular hardware: IMU, Pi Pico W controller, Qwiic connectors, motor controllers, and build system parts
  • Community build files (3D prints, CAD, and guides) available on GitHub and Printables
